A threat intelligence report includes an analysis of ransomware in Latin America, stating that the Central Reserve Bank of a Central American country was a victim of ransomware. However, sources at JaCkSecurity confirm that no such incident occurred, at least not in the way the news reports described. In fact, no system was affected.
